Ben leads business development for Grid Assurance and serves as the Director of Transmission Business Development at AEP, overseeing strategy for new Transmission growth opportunities in AEP’s core RTO’s and across the United States. Over the past 13 years Ben has served in various subject matter expert and leadership roles in transmission engineering, strategic planning, and bid development. Ben also is a subject matter expert on substation equipment, including authoring substation equipment specifications, performing factory audits, and engineering and field operations support for EHV substation equipment. Ben earned a BS degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The Ohio State University with a focus on Power Systems.
